Narayana Reddy Farm

This alluring natural farm is located at Doddaballapura, built by Mr. Varthur Narayana Reddy, Encyclopaedia of Natural Farming. He started his journey of organic farming in early 70’s, with the knowledge and loan offered by American astrophysicist and Organic Warrior, Albert Trucker. He was then influenced by the book written by Father of Natural Farming, Masanobu Fukuoka, a Japanese farmer and philosopher. Mr. Narayana Reddy adopted all the principles of natural farming in his farm. With much struggle in initial years, Mr. Reddy built a sustainable functional farm ecosystem. He collected and bred all the local varieties of vegetables, greens and fruits. With no boundaries he educated his fellow farmers, farmers from different states and countries and students from different streams, regarding natural farming. With the demise of this Karmayogi in 2019, now the legacy is being carried forward by his son Mr. Sai Ram Reddy.

Encompassing a variety of fruit crops like mango, guava, chikku, jackfruit, butterfruit, litchi, waterapple, fig and many more wild varieties along with coffee, pepper and an array of vegetables and greens this farm is a perfect spot to hang out with your family. Mr. Sai Ram Reddy with his expertise widens your knowledge of natural farming and its practices. With colorful fruits and vegetables around your children can learn much about farming practically. You can indulge in nature at its best.

• Consumption of alcohol, smoking and partying are prohibited
• Only day visits are allowed
• It is permissible to bring one's own meals
