Varthur
Narayana Reddy Organic Farm is owned and maintained by Sai Ram Reddy, son of
Varthur Narayana Reddy a legendary farmer known as an encyclopedia of natural farming. This organic farm is located at Doddaballapura
and cultivated organically for the past 40 years. The agri-horti-sylviculture
system is adopted. The farm encompasses different fruit and timber trees along
with vegetable crops. Cows, sheep, and poultry are the livestock on the farm.
All the natural farming components are employed for nutrient and pest
management. The farm is a living functional biological system with all its
components interdependent for mutual benefit
